Dr Brian
William Critchlow (full
time) MB, BS, MRCS, LRCP
- Dr
Critchlow qualified at
University College
Hospital, London 1975.
He became a partner in
the practice in 1978.
Dr Critchlow has an
interest in Minor
Surgery, Diabetes, IHD
and Hypertension. In his
spare time he enjoys
skiing, going away most
weekends and playing
golf.

Dr Clare
Winifred Robson (full
time) MB, BS, MRCP, Dip.
Obst., ROCG
- Dr
Robson qualified at
Westminster Hospital in
1974. She became a
partner in this practice
in 1985.
Dr Robson's special
interests include Minor
Surgery, Diabetes,
Paediatrics, Gynaecology
and Psychiatry. Dr
Robson is also
PBC lead
and attends monthly
Whitley Bay
Commissioning Forum
meetings along with the
Practice Manager.

Dr Karen
Jane Buchanan (7
sessions) MB, BS, MRCGP,
DRCOG
- Dr
Buchanan qualified at
Newcastle in 1989. She
became a partner in this
practice in 1996.
Dr Buchanan's clinical
interests include Minor
Surgery, Diabetes,
Women’s Health and IHD.
Dr Buchanan is also the
practice
Quality
Outcomes Framework lead and
works closely with the
Practice Manager to
improve on all existing
Quality Outcomes
Framework areas so that
patients will benefit
from services we offer.

Dr Richard
Fraser Scott (4/5
sessions) MB BS, MRCS, MRCGP
- Dr
Scott qualified at
Newcastle in 1999. He
joined our team on 1st
August 2007 and will
become a partner within
the practice from 1st
January 2008.
Dr Scott has a broad
surgical background with
exposure to a wide
variety of different
surgical specialities
including plastics and
orthopaedics. He has a
ENT (Ear, Nose and
Throat), Orthopaedics
and Minor Surgical
training background all
of which he looking to
maintain within a
primary care setting.
